MEGASKILLS @ All Digital Summit 2025

From 10–12 September 2025, the 18th All Digital Summit brought together digital leaders, educators, and innovators at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta. Under the theme “Educated Digital Citizens: Empowering Connected Generations”, the summit offered a vibrant space to exchange knowledge, network, and showcase projects driving digital inclusion and skills development across Europe.

MEGASKILLS was proud to be featured among them. Attendees explored the project through a live platform demo, gaining firsthand experience of how games can assess and strengthen soft skills. The session also highlighted the Soft Skills Taxonomy Model, methodological backbone of the MEGASKILLS project. Developed through extensive research, surveys, consultations, and Delphi studies, the model provides a structured framework to define, categorise, and evaluate transversal competences. It is consolidated in the publication Soft Skills for the 21st Century: Defining a Framework for Navigating Human-Centered Development in an AI-Driven World, which identifies 30 essential soft skills and introduces clear definitions, categories, and rubrics to make them measurable and actionable. This evidence-based approach equips educators, trainers, and policymakers with practical tools to foster human-centered development in the digital age.

Looking ahead, MEGASKILLS is actively inviting stakeholders to collaborate and join our community: https://www.megaskills.eu/join-us. Getting involved is simple — you can interact with our online content, follow webinars and events, and share your feedback. This opportunity is open to all types of stakeholders, from academia to industry and beyond.

We also warmly invite everyone to our Final Event in Brussels on 11 December 2025, where after years of research, testing, and collaboration we will present our results, tools, and vision for the soft skills training.

A warm thank you to everyone who joined us in Valletta — your engagement is helping shape the future of soft skills in a digital Europe.
