The MEGASKILLS team was delighted to attend and contribute to the Skills2Capabilities Horizon Europe Final Conference held in Maastricht. As one of the project’s sister Horizon initiatives, MEGASKILLS was invited to share its vision for innovative, evidence based solutions to Europe’s persistent skills shortages and mismatches.
Presenting in Maastricht carried particular significance. The city is a landmark of European integration, and it provided an inspiring setting for discussions on the future of skills, learning systems, and labour market resilience.
Throughout the event, the Skills2Capabilities consortium showcased impressive research and forward looking methodologies to better understand and address skills mismatches across Europe. The dedication and expertise of the team were evident, and the exchanges during the conference highlighted strong synergies between our projects.
As MEGASKILLS moves towards the conclusion of its own Horizon journey, we look forward to sustaining the collaboration established with Skills2Capabilities. We warmly thank the organisers for the invitation and look forward to meeting again soon in Brussels or online for the MEGASKILLS Final Conference.
